Buying hemp in Switzerland – what is allowed
In Switzerland, hemp with a THC content below 1 % is not considered a narcotic.
It may be traded and bought as long as the requirements for declaration and product category are met.
Depending on the product type, additional rules apply – for example for tobacco substitutes, cosmetics or food.
All products in our range are intended for the Swiss market and declared accordingly.
When buying hemp, look for current laboratory reports, clear information on the cannabinoid content and a supplier that discloses the origin.
Hemp oil: which one is right?
The term hemp oil is used for two completely different products.
This regularly leads to confusion.
Hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant and is an edible oil.
It contains no significant amount of cannabidiol but unsaturated fatty acids, and is used in cooking.
CBD hemp oil is obtained from flowers and leaves and contains cannabidiol.
It is taken drop by drop and is what most people mean when they want to buy hemp oil. Go to CBD oil.
Rule of thumb: if a percentage such as 12 % or 25 % is shown on the bottle, it is CBD oil. If it only says «hemp oil» without any active ingredient information, it is usually edible oil.

Where our hemp comes from
Our hemp comes from organic Swiss cultivation.
The producers work without pesticides, and every batch is tested by independent laboratories for cannabinoid content and purity.
For extracts, we rely on CO₂ extraction. The process works without solvents and preserves the natural profile of the plant – cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids are largely retained.
Part of our range is certified by Bio Suisse and Demeter.
Hemp or CBD – what is the difference?
Hemp is the plant. CBD is one of its compounds.
When people talk about hemp products, they usually mean flowers, oils or extracts obtained from industrial hemp.
The term CBD, on the other hand, refers to the cannabidiol in it – the active ingredient that, unlike THC, does not have an intoxicating effect.
In practice, the terms overlap strongly:
A hemp oil from a specialist shop is usually a CBD oil, and hemp flowers are CBD flowers.
